What Are Some Ideas For Jobs With No College Degree?

Hi – I’ve been a flight attendant for the past 15 years with the same company. Before that I was a dental assistant for 9 yrs. I’ve also had some sales exp.: cars, carpet, healthclub memberships. I’m tired of being gone overnight and I’m just really ready for a change. Customer service(on the phone, maybe?) or some kind of sales (something like Jenny Craig or Nutrisystem?)
Anybody have any suggestions?

Consider becoming a police officer. It’s not that different from being a flight attendant, except you get a gun and a club!
Seriously, almost all PDs require only a high school diploma and they will provide the training (police academy). Your NG service will be a plus and may even offer earlier retirement options. The people skills you developed in the jobs you listed will be of great value to you as a PO – it is not like the movies and people skills are your most valuable tool (not the gun & club). Even your experience as a dental assistant will be valuable (health care exp).
No one gets rich on a police salary, but PDs usually offer good benefits (issued uniforms, vacation, sick, health, dental, etc.). Do shop around for the best deal.
Good luck
Real estate can be good…but now’s a tough time to join up and start that business…Maybe think about what you want to dedicate or devote your time to first, then see how you can make money with that idea.
I know college is not for everyone. I am a carpenter, and did an apprenticeship. There are a number of blue collar jobs, but most require some training. If you don’t get training, it sounds like a job will be a no brainer. Even customer service has a training period. Truck driving, office management, nursing, appliance sales at Sears, furniture sales, how about starting up as a Mary Kay rep, or a small business mowing grass, shoveling snow. You could get guys to do the work, if you can Hustle the jobs, and take care of the phones. Oh, and TSA is continuely hiring at the federal level.
I think it’s up to you cause you know your ability clearly than everybody so if they give you some suggestion or not? it’s depends on you. But I think you will be choose the good job for yourself and you’ll be happy to do it.
You could do clerical work without a degree. They pay fairly good.
