Whats A Good Price For Carpet Installation If I Already Have The Carpet Itself??

I already own and have the carpet in my possession, and I just need someone to install it. An independent contractor said 2 dollars per square yard for labor and 2 dollars per square yard for the under carpet cushion. Does this seem like a good price? Please help!!
