Continuing Problems With Tenant?

I had a question on here the other day about my tenant who refuses to cooperate with our selling the house.
Guy insists he will not allow the sale. He demanded that we remove the for sale sign off the lawn because people are peeking into his windows.
Says if we sell it will be sight unseen, because he will not ever find a convenient time for it to be shown.
He tore out the dining room carpet, was going to repair the wood floor, now says he doesn’t have to.
We do have a meeting set up for Weds evening between him, us & the realtor, because he demanded to meet with us.
Now, since we did not remove the sale sign from the lawn, and neither did the realtor, apparently the tenant did. I got 2 calls today telling me the sign is laying in the grass.
How much of this crap can he get away with? I am in favor of giving him a 30 day notice. Tenant says he can stay, free, for 7 years, as he is declaring bankruptcy and court won’t let us get rid of him.

What Goes With Burgandy?

I am re-decorating a large open concept dining room. The accent wall is a dark burgandy/raspberry color and cannot be changed. Right now the other walls are white, almost a blue-hued white, and the carpet is gray, cannot be changed. What color can I paint the white walls to make this room more “warm and welcoming?” This is a house for sale and just has a “cold/stark” feeling to it. Would a light golden color work? Or would that look dumb with gray carpet???

Joe needs to purchase carpeting for the dining room. The room is 12 ft by 15 ft. Carpeting is sold in square yards. The cost of the carpet is $12.99 per square yard. Find the cost of the carpet. (hint: change the room size to yards first) Don’t forget the 4.5% sales tax
^ so can any of you guide me through this one, please?? =D
Can I Barter Or Get The Price Down On Our Carpet Quote??…?

We have just bought a fairly large 3 (double) bedroomed house. We got a quote yesterday for a carpet for the lounge through dining room, the hallway, stairs, landing and 3 bedrooms. The carpet costs £15.99 a square metre in the sale and also included in is the best underlay they do, some gripper rods which are needed for the lounge and dining room and a couple of the doorways, delivery and fitting. The cost was £2600 but they said they would do it for £2500. Do you think I can get them down a bit more? or do you think thats a fair price? Many thanks.
Buying Carpets

If you enter a carpet store and look around, you will be amazed to see the wide variety you can choose from. There will be textured plush carpets, saxony carpets, berber carpets and commercial grade carpets. Carpets of all kinds are available, wall to wall carpets, carpets that can be cut and used and carpet squares.
When you buy a carpet your primary consideration must be the amount of traffic that is going to move on the carpet, not the colour of the carpet. Carpet for bedroom will not have as much traffic as living room.
