Any Ideas, Opinions And Experiences About This Situation?

We had one of these vacuum sales teams come to our house (it was a moment of weakness that I agreed to have them come – some free offer…) Anyway they cleaned our carpet and of course found some dirt down deep in our carpet. They wanted to know if we wanted a clean house for our young children. I felt that they had a valid point in that I want a clean carpet and their product would provide that. However, there was a leap in their logic. I decided it was important to be able to FEED my children rather than pay over $1200 for a vacuum. There is something to be said about the degree to which I would like my house to be clean. Do I want to live on a dirt floor? No. Do I need every speck out of my carpets? No. (My kids will just spill goldfish crackers on it a few minutes later anyway.)
Have other people had similar situations with sales people? (It doesn’t just have to be vacuum cleaners). If so, explain what you felt the valid/sound arguments were.

Should I Start My Own Carpet Cleaning And Floor Buffing Business?

I was thinking about wanting to start my own business but am not really good at nything. I think it would be cool to start my own bussiness cleaning carpets and buffing floors and things of that business. What do you guys think? any other ideas for business starters?

Roughly How Much Should I Expect To Pay For Carpet Cleaning?

I am looking to get some of my carpets cleaned. The area I want cleaning is the stairs (14 stairs), average sized landing and small bathroom. I have seen an offer for £24. Does this sound about right? Also what sort of insurance should the company have?

I Took A New Job And Need Some Advice, Can You Help?

I have been a cliche for too long. I have been a statistic for as long as I can stand. I have been the starving artist. I have been the struggling comic. And I finally broke down and took a day job as a used carpet salesman.

My Dreams Come Ture?

i ahd this dream when i was 5 abou tme when i was 13(my age now) and i was in a huge store that only had carpets for sale and i was with my mom and little brother
then 2 months ago my mom took me and my brother into a store that was closeing down and they only had carpets for sale!!
then another time i had a dream that this guy asked me out and i said yes but everytime he kissed me it hurt
then 3 weeks later he asked me out but i said no because i knew that the dream ment something like to stay away from him
am i becoming physic is this gods way of reaching me??? i need soem help and links would rock too :]
