Need Advice On Painting Bedrooms?

I want to paint all my bedrooms a neutral light beige color and put in a neutral beige carpeting in all in anticipation of putting our home up for sale this spring. Is that the best route to go to appeal to prospective buyers? I would use different accent colors, bedspreads & curtains etc in each room.

We just repainted our living room with a “dusty trail” colored paint. It was a light blue color before…After we were done, the room looked bigger, and “friendlier”. Really opened up the space. We’re also getting rid of a lot of our “bigger” pieces of furniture, so that it gives the illusion of more space. I think if you go with the neutral colors, and make each room look “simple, yet functional” you’ll have no problem attracting buyers!

That’s a smart move. When prospective buyers look at a house, they are mentally picturing their belongings there. It’s a lot easier to do that with neutral colors than if they were looking at painted walls that would clash with their things.

Buyers love clutter free places that look really roomy. The neutral colors will give the house a warm open feel :)
Make sure to put down a bright colored rug to make the room pop!
