My Boyfriend Won’t Buy A Carpet?

My stair carpet and bedroom carpet are falling apart (thread bare). My boyfriend has said loads of times that he will purchase 2 new carpets. He has the money but just won’t do it.
I have just brought a new coffee table, rug and pots and pans, so i’ve kept to my side of the deal.
He was the one who told me yesterday that there is a 70% sale at a carpet place near us, yet when I asked if he was ready to go he said no, we’re not going.
Also he won’t give me the money to buy the carpets!
How can I get him to get the carpets!?!

He either is quite simply not keen on spending money or he’s too lazy to just have the go to get up and do it, offer to go with him or go yourself and buy the new carpets, after all it’s your home and you’re right to be proud of it.

Present him with the newspaper, and suggest they go at lunchtime, and remind him of the promise he made to buy them for you.
If he refuses, then you know he is a man who doesn’t keep his word.
make it a day out haha.
ask him if he wants to go out on saturday somewhere and mention oh yeah we’ll have a trip into that carpet shop too!!

Doesn’t sound like he’s the committed one in the relationship. If he was planning to stay with you, looks like he’d invest in the carpet. Warning sign!
Say ‘If you ever want sex again, buy the friggin carpet’.
Tell him that until you get the carpet, you’re refusing sex. It’ll be done by the weekend.
Have you tried asking him why he won’t get the carpets? It’s your boyfriend…. TALK TO HIM!!!
Just buy it yourself – don’t ask men for anything!
tell him it will be none stop sex from now on unless he buys you a carpet…to get more carpet burns on.

refuse him sex until he buys it, that always works!
