Cheap Carpeting

Some people who want to have carpet in their house in a low budget might also like to install it themselves. There are many ways of carpeting a room cheaply or by spending a small amount. If you buy and install it in a hurry, then it might become too expensive for people with a low budget.
If you want to carpet your room withoout spending much , you can do it by using carpet samples. You can buy the samples at very low cost as they are usually not used.
Samples of carpets are available at 25 cents per piece at close out sale or carpet store. Number of samples will depend on the size of the room you wish to carpet.
To install the carpet you will need staples.Staples cost around a dollar or so. The cost of installing every square is also a dollar. That is not expensive.
Carpeting your room by samples or squares is an unusual style so you need to think about the reside value of the house. If your house is low cost, you can use it but if it is an expensive one, use cheap carpeting in the basement or playroom.
If you are carpetting childern’s playroom with multicolored carpet squares then it looks very colorful and if one square gets spoilt due to a spill or something else only one square needs to be changed to make the carpet look new again. Isn’t that interesting and cheap.
To install carpet samples or squares you need very little equiments. All you need is a carpet knife and a staple gun. You just need to put the carpet pieces in the proper place and staple it by two or three staples on each side. Wiggle the head oof the stapler deep between the fibers or between the border and the fibers to hide the staples.
In case, you are carpeting a basement floor, use carpet tape instead of stapler. Carpet tape is a good option if padding is not important. Padding can be used if you like. The choice is yours.
When you are installing different pieces of carpet, first place the piece of your choice where you like then fill the space with the remaning pieces. At the walls, near the heating sources or other obstacles, the carpet pieces can easily be cut to fit in. If by chance,you do something wrong or cut more, it won’t cost you much. Just buy another square or piece for a dollar or so.
When you plan to carpet a room, calculate how many pieces of carpet you will need for it. You also need to find out which carpet store has those many pieces available.
Different stores might have different sizes of sample capets but average sixe is 18 x18 inches. If you use same size pieces it will be easier for you.
