Best Background For Ebay Sales?

October 12, 2009 by

Clothing in general, I want to know what the best background is, I’ve made mistakes in the past using the carpeting and my things didn’t sell. My friend used hardwood floors (which I don’t have) and her sales were way better!
What’s the recommendation? Thanks!

My best advise would be to photograph the clothing on models. People want to see the clothing being worn so they can picture it on themselves. This is why they have all of the mannequins in the stores.
If you absolutely have to I would use a contrasting sheet as a background. The focus should be on the item being sold and nothing else. This has worked well for me in the past.

i would say the floor just white,or hardwood would work good
