grocery stores usually rent the cleaners. I’ve used them in the past.
if it is slightly soiled will work. if it is grind in dirty over time, does not do a good job. then you should call Stanley Steamer for like $30 a room.

You ll have to check the yellow pages for a carpet cleaning service.
Get only some one who is certified in carpet cleaning. They ll have the proper knowledge and training to treat stains.
These people will operate out of a van that has the cleaning equipment in the van, only this types will have the proper power and be able to maintain the water temp at the proper temp. GL
