A Good Price For Carpet Installation?

October 31, 2009 by

I have 500 square feet of apartment floor to cover. One bedroom, a living room and a small hallway connecting the two.
Not looking for anything expensive. Just want to replace the 15 year old carpet that currently exists. (Unfortunately no hardwood underneath.)
How much should I pay for the carpet and the installation?
P.S. I live in the Los Angeles area.

    I paid $1300 for a nice carpet /installation/double padding/removing the old carpet + stairs…FOR 600sqf
You should not pay more than $1000..

Florida would be about $1000. But you know how expensive
California is. So I would guess $1500 +.
